Boy oh boy

Here is Ariel, my 2 1/2 year-old son, pretty much engrossed with his new toy, a MP4...gone were the days where children will be busy chasing their friends for a round of 'police sentry' and 'guli' or even not so outdated games such as scrabbles and water guns...kids nowadays are far too mature and advanced. Nowadays, a psp and ipod is almost a must for them..parents wont mind getting these gadgets for their kids as they can play 'em too..;)

While our kids are developing and enhancing their thirst for knowledge, it is both critical and crucial for parents (like me) to be aware and updated on the what r available for our kids for their future. My husband n i are constantly on the debates on how should we raise our kids, which enrichment programme to join, which kindy and school to enrol to..etc..etc...though most of the times we were closed to becoming clueless and at the pinnacle of it, we would hope for the best..come what may..we shall face it together..(gulp)

Here's an excerpt from Kids of the Future, by the Jonas Brother (theme song of Meet the Robinson)

Outside a new day is dawning
Outside the demon is rolling everywhere
I know that it's right because

We'll save the future together
This family's forever

[Chorus]
We're the kids of the future
Woah
We're the kids of the future
Woah
Everybody live cause the future is now

[Chorus]
Na na na na na na na
Na na na na na na
Na na na na na na na
SING!
Na na na na na na

[All Three]
We're the kids
We're the kids
We're the kids of the future [x4]

Oh boy! anyway, my much-awaited holidays r finally here...
