The days r approaching the last day of the month n it's tat period of the month when we will start calculating our budget for the next month. It's a surprising fact to many of us when we would find that our $ is already finishing fast even before we actually have it on our pay day. It's a very very sad situation for us, the working class people.. :(

Online Shopping

I consider myself as a newbie in this field. I bought a brand new Coach handbag from whoosh2 (obviously coz it's waaay cheaper than the Coach boutiques here) n it just arrived yesterday.I didn't expect it to arrive this soon as i expect it to reach me at least next week. The bag is fabulous n i soo love it..now i'm eyeing 4 my next purchase online..hehehe

Cupcakes

It was my mom in law's bday yesterday so i decided to bake cupcakes 4 her. I need to practice on decorating the toppings anyway. Here's the end results...not too bad...not to mention my daughter, Sofea helped with the decor too..the cakes r delicious n d butter cream toppings tasted just nice..not too sweet though i still need to work on the decor..which will be very tricky as my hands r as hard as it can be when it is required to get creative;)

Head over Heels

My superior has recently forbid me from wearing my 'slipper' at work. It's not actually a slipper but it's my fav white giselle bunchen's sandals. It's very comfy for walking n driving but yeah we know we had to look professional at work and high heels or court shoes will do the trick. I have quite a numbers of heels but i don't know what exactly my feet's problems are. They can't seem to feel comfortable in any of those heels tat i own. They all feel good at first but after few minutes, they would hurt my feet. Even my crocs slippers n hush puppies court shoes, they don't feel good on me anymore. I can't really remember the last time my feet met with their perfect match but i remember i used to have this Reebok loafers that i love sooo much coz it's so airy n comfy that i had worn it until it really worn out.

The famous heels design nowadays kinda look absurd to me. Those victoria beckham's shoes don't look so practical to me but they r the best sellers now. Luckily, i am not one of those head over heels fanatics of these latest footwear coz they r not only impractical but its crazily priced as well.

But there r some designs that look pretty comfy n stylish to me. Here's some of them that will definitely look good on my feet n my wallet ;)

Family Time

As the school break is ending soon and since i kinda like my short experience on the lrt 2 days back, i decided to bring my bundle of joys to hop on to the lrt for some family time. We stopped at tmn jaya station n headed to amcorp mall to take a peek of their famous flea market n to have our breakfast. Not much of interesting stuffs there except for one or two n the beautiful cup cakes on sales there but we did have a wonderful yet tiring time.

City

i just got back from KL to attend a workshop on lexile reading. I commuted to kl via the lrt..its been ages since the last time i use it...at 1st it was a bit annoying as there was this guy who sat across me who kept on looking at me..i wouldn't bother much if he's better looking though..while on board i couldn't help but pretending to be thinking about something important where the truth was that i was starting to judge the people on board with the way they were dressed..haha yes i was being mean..but then again i was bored. In a nutshell, i've decided that it was quite fun watching people rushing to the office when i was not ;D

When i've reached my stop at pasar seni, i took my own sweet time to observe the city in the morning. Nothing much has changed though. I've noticed these graffiti near the station..impressive..wouldn't u think so..?

Fast & Forward

I overslept this morning! my baby son was up & cranky last nite so i tried to soothe him n nx thing i know i felt asleep on his bed. To my horror (well..not so) it was already 7.10 am when i woke up. I dashed to d bathroom n got ready 4 work. on my way out, i drank my milo, i half ran towards my car n saw the clock at my dashboard - 7.25 am..wow..tats the fastest time i've ever taken to get ready. it was drizzling on the road and the traffic was quite heavy towards my school but thankfully it's moving. Miraculously my card showed 7.54 when i clocked in. Wow...That was a pretty clumsy start for the last day b4 the term holiday... ;D

Ok..i'm off for my breakfast now...

I ran across this title and was intrigued to find out about it. I found this poem rather glum, subdued and yet full of wisdom at the same time.

Literally it tells us that life is but transient. Life makes no impression, just like the inadequate actor who spends but a short time on stage and then disappears, making no impact. Life is short and is ticking fast; and we are but of yesterday and are ignorant: for our days upon earth are but a shadow.

The moral of the story is appreciate your life, do not procrastinate and live your life to the fullest!

Aidil in Hospital

Aidil is admitted to Selayang Hospital today for his operation which is scheduled tomorrow. After consulting with his doctors, they decided to postpone it because he was not fit for an operation due to his health condition-coughing+cold. His new tentative date for operation is 3rd June 2009. His mommy was a bit relieved;)

Aidil seemed to be a bit disturbed when he entered the hospital building (was cranky the whole morning) but later 'enjoyed' this short visit to the paediatrics ward.

Worried Mom

I am a very worried mom now. A very much perturbed and edgy too. I am nervous as my youngest son, the baby of the family, Khairyl Aidil Danish will be undergoing an operation in hospital next Wednesday. He may be needed to stay in the hospital for at least a week after the operation n there's where I'm gonna spend my mid sem break. I am praying hard that everything will go on smoothly n i would gratefully appreciate prayers from all of u out there. TQ :)

Me on RCTI?

I received an unexpected call from my friend Altaf a couple of days ago. It was unexpected coz usually if we were on the phone, it's usually when we r making plans to meet up for makan2 or minum2. She called me as a favour for her friend, Alex who is looking for a subject for his assignment. Alex works for RCTI, a TV station in Indonesia (which is located not far from where i used to teach, Bina Bangsa School, Jakarta) and he is on this assignment to compare the facilities and services provided by our Tabung Haji here n their organisation that manages the Hajj pilgrimages. I agreed to be interviewed since Alex said there;s no video involved.

Alex came to our office on that same afternoon with his big camera. I was a bit hesitate as i am pretty sure i look like a mess (after working hours ma..) There's no make-ups for me to touch up with - of all day to forget to bring ur make-ups pouch. I just hope i wont look like any dainty old lady when it is aired in the whole archipelago of Indonesia. It was quite a memorable and funny experience for one to be interviewed for an international TV for the 1st time. On the other hand, i am relieved it will not be aired in Malaysia ;)

Like Mommy Like Daughter n Sons

I just love shopping. I can never get enough of it - mainly due to the main problem - i can never have enough money for it ;( When the $$$ is right, i am my very own version of Becky Bloomwood's shopaholic.
These photos are evidence that this passion of mine is hereditary. My kids enjoy it too and together we may stimulate the sluggish economic faced in Malaysia..he3;)
